Using Portal as learning English to in Japan
Aloha! I live in Hawaii. I purchased Two sets of portal because I wanted to use portal with my son who lives in my son. Portal is BEST. My brother has been doing English school in Japan and he has more than 40 franchisees. Anyway we would like to use Portal but we are not sure if Portal works in Japan. I'd like to be able to create a Portal photo album in my Facebook account by just "sending" photos I already have uploaded from other albums. I don't necessarily want to stream every profile pic I've ever used or every cover photo or even every photo from a special event album.

Multiple Devices
Come up with only a camera hardware to be distributed throughout the house. Then incorporate this into the AI allowing the cameras to follow you throughout the house as you walk around. This is a bit creepy but cool

Better re-teach older folks how to use the Portal
There's a very helpful walk-through when setting up the Portal. It uses blue boxes to teach how to use various features. Unfortunately, someone set up my father's Portal for him thus he cannot benefit from this nicely-done walk through.
My recommendation is add a way (maybe a "teach me again" button in the "TIPS" app) to re-start that guidance WITHOUT a factory reset that would require all kinds of other setup things like wifi, etc.
Consider doing more and simply. I notice the videos teach a feature then go on-and-on explaining advanced things. Those should be separate. Keep the basic…

Ultra-Simple Mode
My folks are on their 80’s and not technologically inclined. They constantly turn on and off the auto mode, get lost on the apps and settings screen, initiate filters and stories. All this by just touching the wrong parent of the screen at any time.
It would be great to be able to set a ultra-simple mode that can be enable and it would remove everything but the calling ability, in fully auto mode, no voice assistant, and all the other apps and things that you might be inclined to add.

I would love to see the pictures my favorites post, not only pictures they are tagged in.
I would love to see pictures my favorites post on their page in the superframe, rather than just what they are tagged in. We bought a portal for my sister, my mom and myself to help us stay close when we move. I would love for them to see the pictures I am posting, it doesn't make sense for them to see what I am tagged in. Sometimes pictures you are tagged in aren't what they will want to see. Please add this feature!

Provide ability to do screen prints to save screen image.
We do monthly Portal Video Chats once a month with our granddaughters who live 3000 miles away. We would love to be able to do screen captures to save a picture of them each month. There appears to be no way to do this. Would think this would be a great add. We use to do it with Skype on our mainframe computer.

Make Storytime accessible for Portal user without having to interact with another Caller
Storytime is great, but it would be even better if it had its own app and could be used outside of a call - so that a parent & child using their portal could see themselves on the large screen and be able to interact with stories without another person dialed in. Would provide so much entertainment, especially when other people aren't available for a call.

Add more specific and detailed instructions
Derailed and specific instructions on features and how to use them. I have run into things that I have been unable to find specific instructions for through the articles and tips. Things like should you leave portal on all the time, why does screen shift from wide full room view to narrowed focus view on its own and how to control it, why does it change from full screen to a strip in the middle of the screen arbitrarily etc. trying to glean through the “tips” yields no answers. 'Family' Account
The option to connect multiple accounts is great, but many of us plan on using the portal to allow our kids to keep in touch with people. Including ourselves when we are away. Having an easy option to create a 'family' or 'household' account, to make contact management even easier would be really helpful. If I have to go out of town on a business trip, I don't want to have to try to figure out multiple accounts to allow them to contact me and other people.
