5. Allow screen lock while on calls

   My 1 year old loves to press buttons on a call which is very frustrating for both us and his grandparents. The ability to lock the screen while on call would be very beneficial.

7. Allow a "Read Along" feature

   I have the original Facebook portal and have gifted portals multiple times to others. It is an AWESOME tool to stay connected.

   One specific way I use the Portal is to read stories to children. Some of them have gotten to an age that they want to practice reading to me.

   My suggestion would be a “parent/grandparent or “reading assistance” mode where the person who the story is being read to can also have access to seeing the words. This would enable me to help when the child reading stumbles on a word.

   Having this feature would enable me to lend a helping hand (from hundreds of miles away) for the kid’s 20 mins of reading they must do.

8. I use Portal with my elderly parents. It would be very helpful if I could control spotlight on their end to keep their camera on them.

   I would be able to control their spotlight from my side of the call.

9. New stories

   Instead of changing the home screen, which I do not like at all, you should have concentrated on posting new stories in Storytime. I mean, there have been the same stories on here for years. My granddaughter has heard them all several times. It is time to put on some more.

10. Bring back large time and date on home screen

    My grandmother enjoyed seeing the interface where the time and date was extremely large on the Home Screen — and she could see it from a ways away. Now it is too small for her to see across the room. Please give an option to return to the previous interface or add this option to settings. Thank you!

    Hey how about making a voice command to show the serial number. Make things a lot easier for the users and the people at customer support instead making us go hunting for the number.

18. Please update and add new content to the Storytime feature.

    New content is needed on the Storytime app. As we've used it weekly or more frequent to video visit with grandchildren and have read and reread all the stories several times in the past few months. It has become an important way of connecting with family that we haven't been able to visit and need new stories for grandchildren to enjoy.

    release new portal plus and portal tv that is able to do 4k ultra HD video calling with minimum 60 FPS

    the video calling on 720p and 1080p is trash quality

    we have fibre internet now 1000 down and 1000 up

    whatsapp and messenger should start adopting calling each other on video calls in 4k

    most of front cams on phones now got 4k

20. Eight Picture and Slideshow UPDATES pls

    1. If the portal is playing the slideshow and sleep mode is turned on, then when the portal's slideshow resumes, continue where the slideshow left off. (It is taking too long to get to the rest of my pictures and to new pictures!)

    2. Ability to sort/move pics from one album to another within the Portal phone app AND portal itself.

    3. Add toggle to turn on/off option for when a new photo is added to an album that is viewable, that picture is shown on screen immediately after upload. And if the portal is in sleep mode, the portal will wake up and display the newly added picture.

    4. Add an option in display settings to allow slideshow to always play. Meaning sleep mode would not override slideshow.

    5. If an album is shared with another household that is using a portal and a new picture is added, display new pictures immediately from the album the picture was added to.

    6. Allow portal users to "heart" images shared with them.

    7. If the portal is playing the slideshow and sleep mode is turned on, then when the portal's slideshow resumes, continue where the slideshow left off. (It is taking too long to get to the rest of my pictures and to new pictures!)

    8. "Hey Portal, take a picture" Allow the portal user to not only share via messenger, but also share to a portal photo album, which would then be displayed the next time the slideshow turned on.
