2. Allow using the Portal to call to people using other browsers than Chrome or Opera.

   I have been trying to use my new Portal since before Thanksgiving but have unable to make any connections to other family members because they all use Safari or Windows browsers. Your instructions do not make this clear. So, my only choices for using this product is as a doorstop or a picture frame for photos. To me that makes it worthless!

   As I could not figure out WHY I could not get the product to work, I had been emailing your customer support and had been getting responses from someone named “Sena”. It took her 3 weeks to finally admit to me, what I had already been trying to tell her, which is that the product does not work or less you call someone who is using Facebook from a Chrome browser. I summed up my response to Sena below:

   Thank you for finally admitting that what I had been saying all along is true... that this product does not work with or less you use Chrome (or apparently Opera - of which I have never heard). I did confirm what you said about calling someone who is using a smart phone, as I managed to call my daughter who did receive the call I made to her while she was using her iPhone... although she did not immediately answer the call because she did not know I was the person calling as she normally does not answer calls from phone numbers she does not recognize. At the very least couldn’t you make the call come from my own cell phone number? Obviously connecting to someone who can only see you on a small smartphone screen is less than satisfactory.

   I will submit my complaints to the contact website you referenced. However, I would appreciate it if you would pass on to your supervisors that I find your advertising, which makes it look like that using the Portal is incredibly easy, is clearly intentionally (and perhaps illegally) misleading. Even your instructions on using the product do not explain clearly that this product will only work on designated (and not commonly used) browsers.

   Can I return the product and get my money back? I have already set it up and tried using it for a couple of weeks. But you have confirmed that I will only be able to use it if I go through a lot of trouble. I either have to tell people who I want to call to setup their computers or iPads with Facebook using a Chrome browser, or inform them in advance that I will be calling them from some phone number they will not recognize and they have to answer ONLY using their cell phone. Both options are clearly impractical.

   I cannot recall having been so disappointed in a product.

3. Video Message Retrieval

   It would be nice if you could retrieve and watch video messages and see missed calls directly on the portal device. My 90 year old grandmother is unable to utilize the facebook app, so we manage it for her, however, she does use the portal frame and loves it. When we call and she misses the call, she does not know that we called and she can not see the message since she does not have access to her account.

4. Need Manual frame, move and zoom.

   Need the option to manually frame and area and move it around.. The face spotlight doesn't work with an active toddler that doesn't look at the screen all times.

5. Make browser available for Portal TV, please?

   Please make a browser for the Portal TV so that I can log into other video conferencing sites on the browser during this pandemic. My children & I all use various different video conferencing sites to communicate with teachers, doctors, therapists, mentors, etc. We would desperately like to use our Portal TV to do family therapy as well, and the biggest screen in the house would be perfect for this task.

10. Stream to FB, instagram AND YouTube simultaneously

    I have an online yoga business. I’ve been streaming on fb alone and later uploading to YouTube simply because I cannot afford the software that streams to multiple social media platforms. When I saw this I thought it was amazing bc it would solve another problem I have (not having a professional cameraman) but the only thing that kept me from purchasing was that it originally wasn’t compatible with fb live, which is how I stream my classes. But after you guys made the improvement I was ready to buy ESPECIALLY after I’ve been saving up for the aforementioned software. However, the fact that I can’t stream to IGTV currently is the only thing keeping me from making the buy. And if I’m making suggestions adding the ability to stream or at least upload later to YouTube would be an absolute dream!

11. Stay Logged in Facebook Live

    I bought the Portal so my dad can FB Live small group study. This seemed like the easiest solution, but it would be great if once you verify and log in, you can stay logged in and wouldn't have to type your password or use a code each time, which he doesn't know how to do. Additionally, if it remembered the last place you broadcast so he wouldn't have to select the Business Page each time.

14. Add the ability to live stream to a Facebook group from Portal TV

    I enjoy my Portal TV device, but it would be even better if I could live stream to my private Facebook group from Portal TV. Our Facebook group meets weekly in person, but we would love to live stream to those who cannot attend in person.

15. Enable location services to allow streaming with Hulu and Netflix ~OR~ Add Hulu and Netflix to the Portal app store

    I've owned my Portal for almost a year. Up until 2-3 months ago, I was able to stream Hulu & Netflix using the Portal browser. But now when i visit Hulu the first thing i see is a screen prompting me to enable location services. However, there is no setting for Location services on the Portal. Netflix doesn't ask for location services but my Netflix streaming capabilities using the Portal browser were interrupted around the same time as my Hulu issue began. Now when I try to stream Netflix content, it says 'instant play isn't available' or something to that effect. Since streaming on Hulu and Netflix via Portal browser stopped working around the same time, I suspect that both issues are tied to the location services not being enabled. I did not change anything on my end, so perhaps one of the Portal updates knocked out this function. Since the apps for Hulu and Netflix are not yet available for Portal owners, it would be a huge help if I could at least go back to using the Portal browser to access this content. Please help me to enable location services on my portal - OR - please add Hulu and Netflix to the Portal app store. Thank you in advance for your attention to this much needed enhancement! :)

16. Enable multi-country shipping

    With a lot of families living across borders and not being able to meet for Christmas, it would be nice to be able to ship to another country that sell Portal devices while taking advantages of offers available.
    For example, France is offering a 50€ discount for 2 items purchased, whereas the UK has a discount on a single item. It makes no sense to purchase them individually.

17. Enable Automatic Video Call Answering - Like Skype

    I have a grandma in a nursing home with dementia so she can barely speak and definitely can't move to answer a video call. Skype offers a feature that allows you to enable automatic answering for incoming video calls.
    The lack of this feature in portal is the only thing holding us back from buying a portal because even with voice activated answering, the device would be completely useless. My grandma isn't able to do this on her own most days.

18. Story time

    Ok I’m going to try one more time. I’m a kindergarten teacher who has been given the task to not only educate 5 year olds But to keep them engage virtually! Do you have kids?!? I have taught kinder for 15 years and competing with my students playstations and other gaming apps is hard 😫 I was sooo excited to buy portal because of the story time feature, to be able to engage them in their favorite story! Definitely a game changer. Then I get it and their is no way to share the stories unless I call them directly which I cannot do. Please please from a tired teacher let us record story time stories so we can post it to our virtual classrooms. I beg you!
