Yes! Auto Answer from specific friends would be great for Seniors like my mom who get confused with technology stuff.

I've also asked for an easier way to answer an incoming call. Something like "hello" or just the word "Portal answer" instead of "hey Portal".

Or at least make it easier to answer by displaying a single, large, button to touch. Also, give the option to control what is on the home screen. for example, remove clutter by eliminating "recent", and just displaying favorites. Also, allow the option to prevent scrolling. If my mother-in-law accidently swipes from the home screen to the app screen, she gets lost.

Agree. What's the rationale to allow only a subset of Alexa features in the device? Some arrangement with Amazon, in hopes that "Alexa light" will generate interest in "Alexa full" so people buy more echos and dots?

I needed support for the accessibility features to be exposed through voice commands. My grandmothers Portal has the screen reader enabled and walking her through the settings is not feasible.

This would be a wonderful feature to have; it would be absolutely perfect for seniors who don't know how to handle new technology like the Portal to remain connected with the rest of our families.

Really integrate Alexa, not Alexa light. Like drop in and multi room music. Especially drop in

Drop in from Alexa app via video or voice and video messages so when someone gets home they can play the message.

Portal is promoted as a product to stay in touch with the elderly. This is a great use case. However, as people age, they become more and more confused on how to use devices. Portal needs to have features that make it super easy to use. A "drop-in" feature makes perfect sense so that an incoming call is AUTOMATICALLY answered. It is too much to expect an aging person to remember how to use devices.

I'll add my vote for this feature also. The drop in feature also allows someone to check on a Portal user who may have a problem answering a call. I own several Echo devices that allow me to check in on my wile who had dementia and is not always able to give the answer command.

Allow drop in like amazons devices do!!!

You need to enable Amazon Alexa drop in call features. Most of the people I know has Amazon echo device and I cannot drop into that with or Portal.
