    Please add the YouTube TV app! The browser app on Portal supports YouTube TV, and it works fine. The YouTube TV app has more controls for the user. This feature would sell Portals to many subscribers of YouTube TV.

  3. meta portal go netflix

    HSN advertised the product as being capable of supporting netflix on the browser which is total false advertisement. While you can go on website, you can not stream a single show or movie. Honestly the meta portal go is a complete waste of money, you can only video chat via facebook or whatsapp... which is the SAME thing your phone could do and you'd save yourself the money..

  7. Portal pictures not looping

    My portal pictures have stopped looping. If I switch off and on it will (after the designated minutes) go through my 42 photos, come to the end and then just sit there. Even after it is woken up it just comes up with the last photo. I’ve done a factory reset, I’ve deleted and re inputed the photos still same problem. On my portal I can turn the ‘display on portal’ off and on and it just runs through the photos to the end then stops on the last photo.

    I saw on somebody else's complaint about the lack of new stories that it was marked as completed. There have not been new storied in a very long time! One of the big reasons that my daughter and I purchase our Portals (and I recommended the Portal to others), was for Story Time. It seems that Facebook is engaging in false advertising with the following statement: "Portal comes with a library of stories built-in, with more free stories added regularly. When a new story becomes available you’ll see it appear within Story Time automatically."

    Currently, you need to always enter the zoom meeting ID and password to join a meeting.

    Many people look up a meeting code and password in their email on the browser, however, the webpage "Join Meeting" link does not link out or start the zoom app.

    Please allow the browser to launch the zoom app to connect to a meeting from clicking on a zoom link.

    Hello, I bought the portal for my visually impaired grandmother at Christmas 2020. Everything was fine, she was using it wonderfully and it really made her smile again in this time of covid.     Portal support need to be able to contact Facebook to support their customers.
    Facebook account hacked, inappropriate posts made, account disabled. No route to sort this. Sent round in circles via Facebook help pages but unable to action anything.
    Portal support state can't help other than to send links to Facebook help pages which don't work.
    Can't use paid for portal device as Facebook account disabled. Advised of using a workaround of WhatsApp for using portal but no good as parents don't use WhatsApp so only have access to portal via Facebook/messenger. As such can't use portals and parents can't…

    I have been going in circles with Portal Support via e-mail and they keep directing me to this black hole.

    The ambient slideshow needs to use ALL of the photos placed in an album, not just the 50 "most popular". There should not be an algorithm choosing which photos show on the slide show unless someone chooses that specifically. I have this device for my 97 year old grandfather and the album is private and intended just for him to view.     Removing photo casting is a horrible decision. Photo casting adds to the video calling experience by being able to add to the discussion. After buying 4 more portals as gifts for others this is really disappointing that we cannot use this now that we've bought them for family and friends.
