Allow remote photo upload
Would like the ability to remote upload photos directly to specific portals. Are looking to purchase to communicate with grandparents, and would like to be able to share photos for them to display, without having them posted on our facebook account. They are not tech savvy at all and having them to have to manage adding pictures through an app is very unlikely especially for those without facebook or any other smart devices.

Please make a wall mount feature so it won't be in the way, if someone doesn't have a desk or shelf to put it on. Thanks

Tv commercials
I think your missing your point with the sesame commercial. Doesn’t really show how fun it is. Using puppets does not relate to adults who are the ones purchasing this. My two grandchildren who are hundreds of miles away get to talk( jiberish ) as they are only 2 years old, everyday. It’s so cool that they will know each other because of this. They call each other as they have learned to do it. And I get to read stories to them. We love this!!

Throw pictures
I would like the ability to "throw" a picture from my portal to another portal. Sharing pictures without posting a Facebook or Messenger.

Communicating on other platforms
The reason I bought the portal device was to call my parents that live far from my family. They have the echo show and it doesn’t communicate with it. Also It would be nice to be able to download contacts from my phone that I could use to video call with (FaceTime,Skype) . The device is limited if it can only communicate with people from Facebook.

If I have a portal device I should receive ALL messenger calls on it even if the caller has no idea that I have a portal!
I should also be able to send/receive text messages via messenger using voice-to-text too.

Football
You guys need to get the portal to let us all pay for a football or basketball or any sport to watch together, cheer together and have family sports time together. Cheer our team on and feel like we are on the same room! It's amazing what you made now let's move forward with these ideas! I have more ideas if you want! Marketing major here in healthcare.

slideshow type viewing on Superframe
15sec was just too long when we were trying ot view an album, much shorter-maybe 5sec option to play as a slideshow?

"are you there?" button/voice command, quickly check if contact is ready to start a call
Test the waters by either hitting a button or asking your portal to check whether (contact's name) wants to receive a call right now, to avoid cold calling them or having to text first to see if they're ready.
Ideally this would produce an audible & visible notification on their portal that they could then respond to with: Yes please call, No I am busy, Give me 5 minutes, or a custom message.
Since calls can be initiated and answered by voice, this feature should be voice enabled on both ends too. But a visual interface would be better than…9 votes -
Ability to minimize my face during group chat of 4 or more
My face blocks the top left corner when I'm in a group chat on the portal. I would like to minimize my "box" or be able to drag it across the screen.

Allow people without Facebook accounts to use the devices.
We're out there, we have our reasons, and, if we're being honest, the Portal platform would probably benefit from the additional users.

Video Calls to Tech Support
You offer email, chat and PHONE support for Portal and Portal+ but no ability to USE Portal to call in for support. Why not have the ability to speak to a technician at Portal and Facebook about Portal and USE Portal to do it?
We've had video phones for years and yet I don't know of a single business you can call with one. It has baffled me for a long time. It's your product, why not help make the move to integrate video calling into our everyday world and normalize what should be an easy action to become comfortable…

Superframe
Recently Superframe only select same set of aged pictures from my friend photo. I'm boring to dead to look at old pictures. It used to work awesome. when my favorite posted new picture I used to see it. It helps to keep me keep up with my connections . But same set of old pictures over and over is really kill me. I rebooted and reconfigured Superframe many times.
