Voice to text
Allowing my sister who has multiple sclerosis to do voice to text or some type of speech recognition. She doesn't have the dexterity to type so this would be absolutely wonderful! Thanks!

Portal should allow us to answer our home tv from another location.
I want to be able to send & answer calls from my office that I make to my home to my dogs and cats on a giant tv. How to answer without a human at home to accept the call.
Make that an option, and I'm getting one asap.

Allow controlling Active Portal user through voice commands
If it is not there already I think it is a good idea to be able to switch Active user for portal using voice command. Something like Set Active user to "user name"

Can u please investigate the possibility to Train "Hey Portal". I have an elderly mother and she has a hard time pronouncing Portal.

Answer whatssap call with hey portal voice
I would like to answer whatssap calls by using voice. Either hey portal or Alexa. As I have lot of family who i can only call on whatssap as they don’t have Facebook and most of the time my portal is out of reach

Ability to say which Portal you want to answer on via voice (ex. if you have Portal TV or Portal)
Now that you have the Portal and Portal TV, you'll have situations where someone calls you and both Portals ring. It would be ideal to say "Hey Portal, answer on the tv" or "hey portal, answer on my portal" or something, so that you can specify. Currently, the closest Portal will answer. But in my case, the TV is always closer, however I may not want to use my tv for this right now.

Recording Voice for Better Voice Recognition Especially for People with Abnormal Speech
The Portal should have a setting to record your voice for better voice recognition. I have cerebral palsy and it doesn't recognize my voice even though it does for others with "normal" speech.

Add Portal voice command to turn off device completely
Hi, I don't want to use my device all the time. Sometimes, I go out and I turn off the device completely. But I don't know which command that can turn off device completely. I know the command "Hey portal, turn off screen" to turn off screen, but can you add the command something like "Hey portal, turn off device" to turn off device completely instead of hold a button for a few seconds

changing "Hey Portal" wake word
We use Portal assistance features for calling and answering calls. My mother and I have difficulty saying Portal and would like to have an option on changing the wake word to something else.

There should be an option to choose to call friends from Messenger or WhatsApp
When using Portal assistant to make a call, there should be an option to choose to call either Messenger or WhatsApp.
Example:
Customer: Hey Portal, call John.

Stop timer using just "Stop" voice command, without needing to say "Hey Portal"
Once timer goes off and while it's beeping, the assistant should be available so that we could just say "Stop", "Cancel" or something like that to stop the timer, without the need to say "Hey Portal" to trigger the assistant.

My friend is from Dominican Republic and cannot pronounce "Hey Portal" needs options for other names

Add the ability to add the portal to Alexa device groups
I love my home automation and would love to have the full featured Alexa in the device so I don't have two devices in my kitchen.
One feature I am missing is the ability to add the portal to a group so it can turn a room lights without specifying what room I am talking about.
Right now the portal is invisible in groups.

Allow the portal to activate by using another name besides “Hey Portal”. My mother is 90 and isn’t familiar with the term portal.
Allow portal to activate by using another name besides “Hey Portal.” The term Portal is unfamiliar to my 90 year old mother. If she could say a normal name that she’s familiar with it would be helpful.
