1. Allow Zoom and contacts from smartphone

   Not everyone has WhatsAp and/or Messenger. Would make Portal more useable. I have many contacts, clients & friends who only use their Smartphone for communication, do not have your proprietary apps.

2. Sim slot

   It would be great if this had a sim slot so that if grandparents don't already have internet you can pop an internet contract sim in there and immediately have the thing be usable without needing to get WiFi set up just got that

   This simple addons we will call Fbtv media player, video chat and voice assist... will increase sales significantly

4. Make a portable version

   If you were to have an inbuilt battery or the facility to run off external battery, then this device would make for an excellent remote sports coaching device. A coach could work with an athlete remotely, for example a Discus thrower. Add to this unit a 4g/5g capability then this would make it truly portable.

   Please add option to download more effects and more stories. That is the best part of portal, especially with young kids, but after a few days they become played out.

   I am using a Portal in France, mostly in English. I notice that there are hardly any localised apps - for example, there is an Amazon app which leads to Amazon's American store. Amazon offers apps on iOS and Android for each country where it operates, and Portal should follow the same idea. There are many other local apps such as news (France 24, BBC News, etc) and streaming services like BBC iPlayer. The user's location should guide what apps are available at least to some extent. Languages are a bit more tricky because of ex-pats (I'm an example, living in France but working in English) - so localisation should not completely cut out apps from other countries.

10. Audio

    I need a remote microphone so we don’t have to yell across the room to be heard over Portal TV. I was thinking I could use my iphone as a Speaker Phone when using Portal TV via Bluetooth but I don’t see an option for that. Keep the video on the TV but audio on my phone which is close to my body.

    As an elementary school teacher, I often need to record things in my classroom. I would love to have a camera that stays focused on me and moves to me. I would love for portal to have a video option. It would be a great benefit to teachers, interns, and others.

12. Transfer feature

    The only reason I bought the Portal was for the transfer feature. I was able to communicate with my daughter who lives in another state. Then one day it was gone. I spend months on the phone with tech support telling me it was a technical issue that was being worked on. Now I got an email saying that they are doing away with the feature. I bought my portal through Amazon so I can no longer return because I spent so many months waiting for the repair. The portal is useless to me now and I feel ripped off! Facebook should really do something about this. I really is not fair at all!

13. Mirror image?!?

    What I'm trying to live-stream are religious ceremonies: directionality is critically important. We can't have the viewers seeing the minister walking to the left, when he's supposed to be walking to the right; and vice-versa. Who in his right mind (pun intended) wants to see a mirror image of reality?!?

    If this problem is actually a "feature" of the Portal Plus, then I'll have to return it for refund. This was not at all explained on your website nor by the sales technician.

14. Can you please increase the quantity of minimum orders of 4 to accomodate nursing homes with hundreds of seniors.

    These are a great idea for seniors in nursing homes. You should not limit them to 4 per order.

15. Allow Hosted Group Calls

    New Feature: For group calls, allow a host to invite other participants. If a caller drops off for wifi (or other), they can dial in.
    Today's Limitation: when a group call is initiated, and someone falls off, the flow of the call is greatly interrupted b/c it requires voice command or going through screens to get them back. Its essentially, non workable if this is something you do often.

    Portal has revolutionized communications between remote employees in our company, and those in the headquarters. Its completely changed the interpersonal dynamic in a positive way that no other hardware or software can. As remote or 'work from anywhere' becomes the new norm, this solves for the interpersonal elements that are key components of office relations. In fact, now all the employees in our headquarters, have one on their desks, in addition to our remote team, and communicate with others in our own office vs. calling an extension. We are a financial service company, and are going to be using them to ship out to clients who need service or support; they can portal our teams.
    Basically, the only real limitation is when we want to get teams together in a group. Either phone (thumbs down), or zoom, where you can host a call, are the only options. Those technologies had their time and have done zero to change interpersonal dynamics and collaboration in the work force, and with this one tweak, portal can disrupt their entire business, and put real horsepower behind the work from anywhere movement.

19. Being able to turn off mic and cam plus cam cover is a great security option although what is Portal doing behind the scenes for security?

    What is Portal doing behind the scenes to ensure the mic is NOT accessible via hackers? I love all the features that have been added and the idea and complete concept of the Portal. I am will considering to buy for my out of state parents so they have the incredible technology to stay connected with us, the accessibility from what I’ve read seems like my parents would (in their 70s) be very comfortable using. Besides the microphone issue I have no bad feedback to submit. Customer service quality seems to be the best I’ve seen with any other products I’ve reached out to thus far, actively responding timely with consideration and respect to each individuals experience and the interactions with customers needs and/or requests are being heard which is absolutely WONDERFUL! Although, it seems the issue of blocking out the “irrelevant noises” is still technically not a working part via the TV portal, (I read this below, about a ceiling fan interrupting the contact and making audio faulty) this could just be a technical issue for just these people but the idea and technology behind this is brilliant, making me feel the individuals voice should be considered further.

20. Add "Hey Portal MUTE MIC/Camera" voice command

    Please add this to her language. This would be an awesome feature. Please allow photo slideshow to still show when portal is muted. I noticed it turns the screen off . The photo thing is the best part we want to leave that going even if mic is off
