  1. Use story time in zoom meetings

    As a kindergarten teacher I was excited zoom was added to portal but was disappointed we can’t use story time during the call. I know my kids would love seeing me in the stories for story time. Please consider adding this feature.

  5. Check on your own orders

    For some reason you can’t check on the status of your orders on your acccount. I had EXTREME difficulty today trying to check on two different orders going to two different countries. I did not receive confirmation for one of my orders so I had no info to supply except for my email. It wasn’t until the last person I talked to that my issue was resolved. I believe I spoke with 3 different people. VERY FRUSTRATING. What company doesn’t allow you to see your order history?!

  6. Remove the need for a Facebook or WhatsApp account.

    The need for a Facebook and/or WhatsApp account when spending a lot of money on this product is non sensible.

    Older people may not have WhatsApp or Facebook accounts, but want to be able to use this device.

    Children, who cannot sign up for a Facebook account or have a mobile phone are also unable to use this device.

    At a bear minimum, there should be an option to have a "portal" account, and so portals would be able to call other portals.

    I have purchased 7 for the family as thought it would be fantastic, but the theory seems…

  7. Provide a reason why an account is disabled

    I have bought my Mum and Dad a Facebook Portal so we can communicate while in lockdown. After a few days their account became disabled with this message

    "Your account has been disabled
    You can't use Facebook because your account, or activity on it, didn't follow our Community Standards.
    We have already reviewed this decision and it can't be reversed.
    To learn more about the reasons why we disable accounts, visit the Community Standards."

    He literally DOES NOTHING with this account except receive and make video calls, and I uploaded some family photos to his timeline so they'd appear on…

    It would be a good idea to allow the television to pick up a video call from WhatsApp rather than having to call someone back At the moment you can only make calls direct because there isn’t enough time to switch the input on the television by the time you do that you’ve missed the call

  12. If a timer goes off or notification of any sort, main view is minimized and can't be restored.

    I'm talking with someone and the timer goes off or a reminder comes up. The large screen to view them is minimized and can't be restored to full screen view. My mom was trying to show me something and I couldn't see what it was. Would have to hang up and call again for full screen view.

  13. Add additional services

    I would like to use the portal as a photo frame without the need to be signed up to Facebook. it shouldn’t be a problem for anyone to upload their own photos to the device.
    Also. I was interested in the PORTAL TV, but once again. It is limited to WhatsApp calls if you don’t want to register with a Facebook account. With the current pandemic and lockdowns, people are lonely and it would be a real seller if Facebook joined forces or had an agreement to share other video conferencing apps such as Skype, FaceTime, Houseparty, Kahoots etc

  14. Train your telephone agents properly.

    I have been trying to get help to reset my Portal for MONTHS. Your staff consistently provided incomplete advice on how to achieve this. Then, when I went back and said it hasn't worked, my messages were ignored...no reply to email or messenger p.m. The Portal is a wonderful tool but your support staff are useless apart from Terena who was the only one who provided exactly the information I had been in need of.

    No terms and conditions connected to £50-off to state that both shipping addresses must be to the same country. "Customer service" confirms that this is not stated in the terms, but offer no apology, remuneration etc.

  18. Streamers should be using this device if the functionality was more consistent

    Streamers would be using this device if the consistency of usage and loading in passwords and login information did not constantly keep kicking out. I would like to see an opportunity to allow individuals to participate in an active study to provide realistic feedback to the development team to further the usage and ease of usage for end-users. If Facebook has a tester or development team this should be a priority to assist and users especially beyond family interactions. Going live with this device is quite easy as long as the consistency works

  19. Why Does It Take So Long For “Managed Pages” to load within the FB Live app?

    Why does it take so long for the managed pages to load within the FB live app? I have over 12 managed pages and wanted to go live after resetting this device for the portal plus and the pages still have not loaded after an hour of reloading my Facebook login information. Additionally every time I open it it either has me reestablish my code via facebook.com/device which is also frustrating. The device itself should remember the individual once it has logged in and should not ask for that information again.
