Allow the Portal TV to stop Zooming and stay in "Full Frame Mode"
With more than one person in the room (on my end) I would like to be able to have the Portal TV STOP zooming on one person and stay in Full Frame mode to display whoever is in the frame (like multiple people sitting on a couch)

Yes, please make available this setting. Its so annoying to try to show my baby to my parents and the camera keeps following my face

Hi. Your portal can be put into a manual camera mode. Follow the instructions here:

Its very important otherwise zooming is not in user control and it will go whever it hears the sound. Fixed frame has lot of advantages too. Provide an option to toggle and its easily doable considering the other features which Portal has.

I want to use Portal in my dance lesson. But it keeps focusing on me and my feet are not visible. There should be a way to freeze the camera.

Please vote for that too (it has more votes)!

This. An option to keep it zoomed out so the maximum viewing area is visible (kids playing on the floor and not looking at the camera, parents on the couch).

Yes!! I was just about to post this! I do the talking and the camera zooms in on me on the couch. The entire point was so grandparents can see their grandkids play on the floor, but unless they are talking, they are never in view. This seems like a really easy feature that portal could add and it’s so necessary!

Yes I agree. Considering that video calls on TV can show a wide-angle big image, an option to show zoomed out view of the room would be excellent (without the person sitting far away from the camera and the microphones).
