  3. Eight Picture and Slideshow UPDATES pls

    1. If the portal is playing the slideshow and sleep mode is turned on, then when the portal's slideshow resumes, continue where the slideshow left off. (It is taking too long to get to the rest of my pictures and to new pictures!)

    2. Ability to sort/move pics from one album to another within the Portal phone app AND portal itself.

    3. Add toggle to turn on/off option for when a new photo is added to an album that is viewable, that picture is shown on screen immediately after upload. And if the portal is in sleep mode, the portal will wake up…

  4. Ability to turn off screensaver

    My Portal used to show a slideshow of photos throughout the day, and at night display a clock. Now for some stupid reason the screen goes blank after an hour until I tap on the screen. The maximum screen saver setting is 1 hour, I need an option to turn it off, or revert to the previous software where motion woke the screen

  5. Allow Portal TV to manual zoom

    Portal TV currently does not support this great feature that is in the other Portal devices --being able to manually select the zoom amount. For some instances where you want to have a room to room experience, the auto-zoom actually zooms too much for a large TV screen.

  6. Option to disable only built-in microphone in Portal TV

    Echo problem is very common with portal tv, making the experience on the other end annoying. Even with external Bluetooth conference speakers, it doesn't resort. It would be good to have an option to disable only built-in microphone.

  7. When you send someone a video message using the portal, it should appear on a portal!

    When you send a video message to someone on your portal, it should show a message is waiting on your portal! I have found that it will only appear on your phone. It should be there when you open your portal. Also, add more stories for story time. THANKS!! CAROL

  8. Fix the HDMI socket on the Portal TV so it doesn't block HDMI detection of all HDMI-connected devices to the television

    Start responding to your customers who are seeing this common defect - either that, or stop selling a defective product.

  9. bring back transfer from phone on messenger to a portal device

    Please bring back the feature to transfer from phone using messenger to a portal and vice versa. This was a great feature and was sad to see it disappear.

  10. Schedule and customize the DO NOT DISTURB feature

    I want to be able to schedule the 'Do not disturb' setting, and enter daily start and end times for this setting.
    I don't want it to end at 8am, and I don't want to have to manually turn it on every night.

    My parents are 7 timezones away, plus the 8am definitely doesn't work for everyone.

  11. Stop auto switching fullscreen view

    With a recent "update", Facebook has made a disastrous change to Portal video calling. If we fullscreen anyone in a group call with other windows smaller and on the left, faded out, the fullscreen view doesn't stay on whoever WE have chosen. It automatically changes without any user control over it, depending on whoever talks or some insane weird logic that I can't figure out.

    I can no longer choose to focus on 1 person's big picture all the time (of my choice). It keeps switching the fullscreen view on its own to whoever speaks and makes the other windows…

  13. Stop playing with app set up for elderly

    Finally ! The volume adjustment fixed on Dad’s Portal at nursing home. The upgrade with the new App button on the contacts screen also seemed to affect the ability to change volume controls with the Hey Portal & Hey Alexa voice controls even with me being in the nursing home … the call volume controls would not appear on the screen until within a call and using the frame buttons to trigger the volume bar on the screen … these updates of the system are causing the ease of past methods to become DINOSAURs 🦖🦕 instead of moving towards the…

  15. Allow for multiple Whatsapp accounts

    It would be very useful to be able to have multiple Whatsapp accounts linked. In a home environment for example, where each family member can use Portal with their own contacts to make video calls, etc.

  17. Connect google photos to screensaver.

    A strong feature for non use is the ability to display facebook photos. With storage clouds displaying photos, customers will enjoy the experience more. I know me, I have 600+ travel photos on google photos waiting to be displayed on portal.

  19. Make the Birthday Reminders setting actually display Birthdays on the Portal

    I was very disappointed to find out that the "Birthdays" option under Settings actually did nothing to display birthdays (upcoming or day of) on your Portal as a screen saver. This has been verified by reaching out to Support with my concern.

    My suggestion would be, if this setting is toggled under "Display", to show 'day of' birthdays on the Portal screen saver.
