  3. Add whole group mode for fitness instructors

    Focusing only on that face doesn’t help fitness instructors who want to use portal as their primary tool. They have to use manual mode. Adding a whole body kind of focus would be fantastic

  4. Photo App, Collaborator shared photos aren't working at all

    Hi,

    Let me explain what's happening quickly: When I create an album on the portal app (on my phone), and I add collaborators, I go into the album preferences and enable both options: Collaborators can add without review, AND collaborators can modify the album.

    When collaborators open the portal app on their phone, they can see the album and the single photo I've added. If they add a photo, it WILL NOT appear on my phone. Ever, it's been 5 days since they added their photos. Still can't see them.

  5. "Matter" protocol - HomeKit

    Kindly add support to "Matter" protocol, this will allow Portal to connect as a device with HomeKit and google not only Alexa which will open the door for portal to be much more than a communication device. it could be a sensor, security camera, speaker, that can be connected securely form any ios device or Mac and become part of the Smart Home in all kind of automations.

    Frankly, I was surprised not to see Facebook as part of the long list of companies in The Matter Community.

  7. Instagram Support (Chat, email/ call)

    The main question is how to contact Instagram support. There is no option in the help Instagram page and in the meta main portal also. But all the technologies have a contact us option except Instagram. I have mailed to the email provided on Instagram. It's already a month, no reply from them. The help center just gave some emails. There is a contact us option.

    I am facing problems with my Instagram account. I have tried all the way whatever you gave in the help center. But nothing working. Please let me know how to contact support.

  11. Let incoming calls ring when the screen is passcode locked

    My kids figured out how to freely access YouTube on the Portal, so we set up the passcode lock. But now, it doesn't ring when we have an incoming call. The whole reason why we own it is to have video calls with the grandparents and other far flung relatives.

    There isn't an option to buy a Portal (Gen 1) power cord from the Portal store. Why does Facebook not support their own product? Mine broke and can't seem buy one anywhere.

  13. Be able to move OUR video picture on Portal TV to any corner of screen

    Our son bought us a Portal TV when our first grandbaby was born (COVID prevented us from visiting). Well, when a baby crawls or walks around, it is always in front at the bottom of their video feed and our picture obscures the view. Yes, I can minimize our picture, but would really like to be able to move it to the top left or right as desired. Thank you!

  14. malke portal as easy to set up as it is on the advert

    we bought a portal to speak and see an elderly friend, but we can't speak to him on both of our portals. one of us has to be on our phones, we have tried calling his pportal and it calls his phone and vice versa. a nightmnare to set up and this was not advertised. what a piece of rubbish.

  16. New wake word "Hey Facebook" is great!

    I recently purchased 2 Facebook Portal TV. One of them allows the wake word to be changed to "Hey Facebook". My 85 year old mother has a Facebook Portal + and a Facebook Portal TV. She can only use voice commands since she has parkinsons and also gets frustrated with remotes. She loves the ability to say "hey portal" for her smaller portal and "hey facebook" for her portal TV. Please roll this feature out to all devices. I currently have to use the remote on the other facebook portal tv since it does not have the configurable setting.

  17. Allow 1080 camera streaming on portal TV

    The portal TV has a good camera, but only streams in 720p. On a big TV screen, this doesn't seem as high quality as you'd like. As long as the device doesn't overheat, I think 1080 should be offered.

  20. INSTALL ISSUES

    DURING INSTALL: Turn off option for Talk .. Back. It is totally confusing for Seniors with little technical know-how.

    DURING INSTALL: Could not scroll down into Wifi signals outside of page 1 .. either using 2 fingers or 1 fingers. This seems like a bug to fix. The only solution was to sit next to a Router source, that was not conveniently located so the signal was strong enough to go towards the top of the list on page 1.
