    I would like to change the Portal TV's wake word to something other than Alexa for this very reason. For now I have deregistered the Portal's Alexa account so it no longer has Alexa functionality.

    Absolutely need this. I already have an Echo Show in the same room that responds to Alexa. Now both the Portal TV and Echo respond simultaneously with unexpected results. Echo devices are clever enough not to do this but not Portal
