3. Alexa enabled device announcements

   Portal can neither be added as one of the group speaker nor can be used as display for security cameras. Every time my WiFi bell rings or there is a person detection on one of my cameras, I need to wake alexa in my portal and ask her to show that cam feed. However, with other smart displays, this can be automated. Its a too good feature making Portal a one stop solution for all Home displays.

5. PLEASE make Portal compatible with Google Meet

   I am an educator. As you know, nearly all school related meetings during the pandemic have been done remotely. Our school system uses Google Meet as a platform for all remote engagements.
   After being gifted a Portal (which we are generally enjoying) I spent a good part of this afternoon trying to get it to work with Google Meet. I can go to the site from my Google Calendar, but I am unable to join the meeting because the microphone and camera are blocked - and no amount of fussing with various settings has changed the situation.
   I have since learned from a tech support chat that Portal does not currently support Google meet. REALLY?!?
   This is a total bummer for me, as the screen is twice the size of my little laptop screen and it's a way better camera and image.
   I hope you will please find a way to provide the Portal with working access to Google Meetings for those of whose jobs would greatly benefit.

10. Why you need Windows Virtual Desktop

    Range of Potential Uses
    The amount of use cases for Virtual Desktop Windows 10 are endless. For example, virtual desktops can be provided to remote workers securely using your existing Active Directory for authentication, thus allowing users to access their desktop from home via the internet.

    Do you have a legacy application that you want to publish to a subset of users? Applications can be installed on a AVD host and published to a group of users in order to minimize maintenance and management.

    AVD is a global service from Azure. AVD hosts can be deployed in multiple regions around the world to support your users globally. Being able to provide virtual desktops within the same geographic regions of your remote users ensures a great user experience.

    Do you have a particular department that requires higher compute power? It is possible to provide different compute and storage performance SKUs for different sets of users.

    Training or testing environments can be deployed with AVD to test new applications or policy settings.

    AVD is not just for enterprise users and applications- it can also be utilized by software companies to distribute a cloud version (using a SaaS model) of their application to customers.

    Ease of Management
    The AVD service manages the RDS infrastructure, so you only need to manage your users, applications, and virtual machines. RDS components such as Gateways, Brokers, and Licenses are provided by the AVD service and no longer need management. If you already have Microsoft 365 licenses, it covers AVD licensing for Windows 10.

    With the latest AVD release (Spring 2020), the AVD components are now Azure Resource Manager (ARM) resources and can be managed within the Azure portal or through PowerShell. This makes managing AVD much more convenient. For example, users can be assigned to personal desktops or pools of desktops within the portal and through Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) group memberships.

    Automated scaling of the AVD pools is available for powering on and off AVD hosts based on user session counts and peak hours. This saves costs by powering off virtual machines when they are not in use and powering them back on as users start logging in.

    Monitoring of Hosted VDI diagnostics is also available with dashboards and alerts available for troubleshooting and Virtual Machine (VM) or User issues.

    Windows 10 Multi-Session
    AVD hosts can be Windows 10 Enterprise, Windows 7 Enterprise, Windows Server 2012R2, 2016, or 2019. However, a major benefit of AVD is the availability of the Windows 10 Enterprise Multi-Session Operating System.

    This OS support allows for multiple users to log into a single Windows 10 VM. The multi-session capability promotes significant cost savings compared to other VDI solutions. In standard Cloud Hosted Virtual Desktop solutions, single users are assigned a dedicated virtual machine. Whereas when using Windows 10 multi-session with AVD, multiple users are assigned to a pool of desktops, thus sharing resources (and costs).

    Image Maintenance
    Windows Virtual Machines deployments are always based on some form of VM image, whether it is a standard Azure marketplace image or a “golden image” created by an IT Team to cater to company needs.

    When it comes to “golden images” there is a lot of administrative effort and many moving parts that go into creation, maintenance, and distribution of these images while keeping track of all changes; it can be a hectic and time-consuming task for businesses of any size.

    User Profile Storage
    In order to effectively use pooled Windows 10 multi-session desktops, shared storage for user profiles is a necessity. A user could be accessing a different VM every time they log in to AVD, so their user profile needs to be available and responsive.

    FSLogix in combination with Azure File Storage solves this challenge efficiently. The desired Azure Storage SKU and data redundancy options can be configured to meet any availability requirements. Each user profile is stored on the file share and is mounted at user login to the AVD host. The user is not able to tell they are using a remote profile- it simply looks as if the profile is local to the machine. The profiles are managed using FSLogix which is simple to deploy and manage. FSLogix gets installed on the VM image and configuration settings are managed using group policy.

13. Hide Tips

    My Portal is used to enable my elderly mother in a care home to communicate with the outside world. The screen needs to be be able to be a free of 'unnecessary' information (customisable). People with Dementia often cannot cope with changed lay outs/pop ups etc. Portal pre upgrade was perfect for this. However as TIPS can on the current not be hidden this is making the Portal not helpful!

14. Alexa settings - ability to change wake word

    Alexa settings need ability to change wake word.
    Currently we cannot change it to any other word then Alexa. Which means it's not same as rest of the household device that use different wake word

16. ZOOM and SKYPE Support #1 !!!

    I just brought Portal TV and love the zoom/pan camera. With great disappointment CS told me it would not work with ZOOM or SKYPE. Now I have returned it.

18. Call yourself

    My son is only 7 doesn’t have a Facebook or WhatsApp account too young. I have my facbook and WhatsApp logged into the portal. However my son is not able to contact me at all from the portal because there is no option to call myself. Can we have an option for my son to contact me. Include the account owners contact in contacts? Also have an option to call Facebook or WhatsApp.

19. Give an option to remove passcode.

    I hate having to use the passcode 15 times a day to access pictures and run a slideshow. It makes the product nearly unusable and make me want to switch to Amazon. Make it an OPTION to use a passcode, and for what to use a passcode for. I am the only one with access to this portal. It is in my bedroom. My front door and lock is the only passcode I need

20. Watch together

    Fix or tell me how to fix my Portal TV so that I can use Watch Together. It's been over a month since I contacted you for help when Watch Together suddenly stopped working. And after a flurry of emails promising to fix it, you've now gone silent. I live alone and just want to share quizzes and content with my family hundreds of miles away like we used to each week. Never thought I'd be begging for a fix so close to Christmas.
