Hopefully you guys correct the Facebook Live and also allow business page integration... I just purchased two of the Portal+ and I am not happy about the extremely limited features. 30 day return policy is about the only thing I'm liking right now.

Different Possibilities!
Would love to use it as a video diary; ability to record and note the date and label of the video diary. Or use as a VLOG. Or do a "how to" video so one can move around in the kitchen for example. And, of course, make it compatible with several other video cameras like FT. Option to record or not. Another idea that I see from Science Fiction. Add Effects from Messenger App
Put the video effects from Facebook Messenger App and put them on the Portal.
My 2yo loves them and was very sad when her favourite effects suddenly disappeared from the Portal App today.

I would appreciate more parental control over what my children are exposed especially with effects.
I was horrified to look up today and see that my 5 year old on the other end had selected an effect that was akin to something from The Ring, and my 3 year old was on my end. I had ZERO control over what my children were exposed to at that moment. My 5 year old was not trying to pick something scary and inappropriate, but this effect was just there waiting for him to click. Needs More Specific Voice Commands
If Portal could have better tie ins to the apps it uses it would make a more efficient device, for example, asking Portal to “Open Spotify” is far different than asking Alexa to open Spotify. With Portal, Spotify opens but everything must now use the touch screen. With Alexa, you cannot say “Open Spotify”, this will cause Spotify to just resume the music and nothing on the screen changes. I'd like to be able to create a Portal photo album in my Facebook account by just "sending" photos I already have uploaded from other albums. I don't necessarily want to stream every profile pic I've ever used or every cover photo or even every photo from a special event album.

Stop or Pause radio command
There is no voice command to stop or pause playback on iheartradio or browser radio. forcing you to walk over to the device and navigate menus to pause music. :-(

Thanks for your suggestion. I looked into this and I believe"Hey Portal – pause the music" and “Hey Portal – resume the music” should accomplish what you’re looking for when you have iheartradio music playing. Please let us know if those commands work for you!

I would love to see the pictures my favorites post, not only pictures they are tagged in.
I would love to see pictures my favorites post on their page in the superframe, rather than just what they are tagged in. We bought a portal for my sister, my mom and myself to help us stay close when we move. I would love for them to see the pictures I am posting, it doesn't make sense for them to see what I am tagged in. Sometimes pictures you are tagged in aren't what they will want to see. Please add this feature!

Hey portal, turn off/turn on video (for this call)
It'd be great to be able to switch to audio/video call during a call using the assistant !
I sometimes want to turn off or on the video (mainly cuz I stay on call my GF with which we're long distance before sleep but without the video). It'd be great that the portal assistant could switch it off, not having to press on screen 🤓7 votes -

Make the browser a fully functional browser
Make the browser a fully functional browser. The browser has been dumbed down and made difficult to use.
- Can't loop playlists on YouTube
- Can't see the desktop version of websites
- Can't enable camera and mic
With the removal of vital apps, and with the dumbing down of the browser, and the lack of new apps. The Portal is becoming more and more limited in function. It's quickly becoming an expensive paperweight.

Ambient SlideShow limit
I have been going in circles with Portal Support via e-mail and they keep directing me to this black hole.
The ambient slideshow needs to use ALL of the photos placed in an album, not just the 50 "most popular". There should not be an algorithm choosing which photos show on the slide show unless someone chooses that specifically. I have this device for my 97 year old grandfather and the album is private and intended just for him to view. He only sees the 50 most recent added photos because of this algorithm/popularity contest. 50 photos does not begin…

Watch together
Fix or tell me how to fix my Portal TV so that I can use Watch Together. It's been over a month since I contacted you for help when Watch Together suddenly stopped working. And after a flurry of emails promising to fix it, you've now gone silent. I live alone and just want to share quizzes and content with my family hundreds of miles away like we used to each week. Never thought I'd be begging for a fix so close to Christmas.

Bring back video playback to ambient mode
In the most recent major software update, we lost the ability to play videos from our linked photo albums in slideshow (now ambient) mode. We were using this as a way for the entire family to upload home movies which would play continuously throughout the day on our linked portal devices. Please return this functionality, as it was far more useful than static images only in ambient mode.
