  2. Needs much more Alexa and app support an

    I need portal to support device groups through Alexa or I am taking a step back in home tech. I have many echo devices I my home and this was to replace the hub but it does not. Also needs to support Ring Video doorbell as well as other home hub devices. I plan on returning my portal until and unless these features are supported.

  4. Make video recording longer

    Photo booth only allowed 30 Sec videos. We need the ability to record as long as we like as portal is like a personal cameraman and you can record your own classes shows etc. Definitely a necessity. Please make happen. Thanks

  5. Enable Apple Music

    You can already use Apple Music on all other Echo devices and can play Apple Music on the portal using the Alexa app. So why not just enable it to let me play it with my voice. please!

  6. When I'm away from Portal+, allow me to Video Call my Portal+ from my Messenger on my phone

    When I'm away from home, it would be nice to be able to be able to call my kids on my Portal without having to switch accounts - I'd like for the Portal to be able to call my phone, or vice-versa.

  7. Give portal the ability to use facebook LIVE in specific private groups within Facebook. And the ability to use it for Instagram LIVE would

    I do appreciate the Facebook LIVE option for Portal. However, I'd really like the ability to use it for Facebook LIVE within specific groups. Chat support has told me I can use the LIVE feature public, just friends, or specific friends---and the specific friends is good... but still, would love to be able to use the Facebook LIVE feature specifically in private support groups I'm a part of on Facebook. Also-- and this is a stretch... but if it could someday be used for Instagram LIVE, too...that would be amazing!

  8. HAVE A PROCESS FOR REPAIRING A BROKEN SCREEN

    My granddaughter accidentally dropped the portal. I can’t believer you DON’T HAVE A PROCESS TO REPAIR THE SCREEN. I understand it isn’t covered by a warranty. However, I am shocked and extremely disappointed that I can’t send it in to get the screen repaired. This is troubling to hear and feel the responsibility to let people know that it’s unrepairable. As friends have come over to see it and used this at work, I’ve given this high marks.

    Now that I’ve found out the hard way that support and repair is below par, I’ll be sharing that too.

  9. Repeating same photo glitch

    The frame had been working just great and now it glitches out and will get stuck on the same photo instead of displaying the hundreds of photos from my various albums. This needs to be fixed in the next update please.

  10. Allow joining zoom link from browser

    Currently, you need to always enter the zoom meeting ID and password to join a meeting.

    Many people look up a meeting code and password in their email on the browser, however, the webpage "Join Meeting" link does not link out or start the zoom app.

    Please allow the browser to launch the zoom app to connect to a meeting from clicking on a zoom link.

  11. Zoom and Pan from the Portal App. Also manual and focus modes

    It will be really helpful to control zoom, pan from the Portal App. While the AI does a decent job of zooming and panning, it is not always perfect and sometimes we want to override the default algorithm.

    It will also help if we can switch between manual and focus mode etc remotely from the Portal App instead of walking up-to the portal each time.

    The above features when combined in the app can provide an even superior control

  13. Add the ability to display day and date on Superframe

    Add the ability to display day and date on Superframe in addition to the time. Many older people would find this helpful!! Purchased for my mother in assisted living and would be very helpful for her to glance at the Superframe when she forgets day/date.

  14. Add Instagram Content

    I'd like to be able to add Instagram content to my superframe, either of everyone I follow, or of specific people.

    I'd also like to be alerted when any of my Instagram or Facebook friends go live, and be able to join in and watch the live content from Portal.

  15. Slideshow Glitches and/or Fixes Portal Go

    Why does the photo slideshow turn off so quick? Should be a setting to keep it on however long you want. Also, the slideshow often freezes on certain pics instead of cycling back through all pics. What's the point of a slideshow if you have to keep resetting it?

  16. Please add more stories to Story Time

    I saw on somebody else's complaint about the lack of new stories that it was marked as completed. There have not been new storied in a very long time! One of the big reasons that my daughter and I purchase our Portals (and I recommended the Portal to others), was for Story Time. It seems that Facebook is engaging in false advertising with the following statement: "Portal comes with a library of stories built-in, with more free stories added regularly. When a new story becomes available you’ll see it appear within Story Time automatically."

  18. More downloadable Apps, like YouTube and disney+ and netflix

    Hey there, I have just received my new facebook portal this week. Inoticed it does not have an aoption to download other apps such as Amazon music, Netflix, and Disney+ or even YouTube. Is this something im missing and it is available. Or are theses apps not available on the portal with Alexa? Which theses apps are available on the fire stick.

    As im very disappointed that I would have to buy secondary device to download theses apps. Rather then just using 1 device (my facebook portal) now I would have to change the HDMI cord everytime to change it…

  19. Allow WhatsApp set up without the use of a smart phone / QR code for the elderly.

    Grandmother is almost 90, she has a standard phone. She does not like tablets or touchscreens hence why we got her the portal due to the voice commands and she can keep up with the family that is currently dispersed across the country. You should be able to create a WhatsApp account without a QR code or just the web version without a smart phone.
