The default ringtone is somewhat subdued and I would like to have special ringtones for family members.

Replacement Remote Control or Remote Control App
Kind of odd but apparently there's no ability to purchase a replacement remote control or to download an App that can function as a remote on my phone. It's a little frustrating that my only option is to buy a new Portal TV?

Kid mode / disable on screen buttons
my 4 yr old loves to push buttons on the screen. Which means everytime we try to make a call he just hangs up on the person, or starts to randomly call people. It would be nice to be able to lock out these functions when in a call.

Extended Superframe Timing Options
More options for timing of Superframe. I would like to be able to display pictures and items all day from, for example, 6:00am to 10:00pm with times settings adjustable.

Messenger Kids is not compatible with Portal. That doesn't make sense, as Messenger is.
Messenger Kids should be made compatible with the Portal.

Allow portal to cast to google chromecast or other smartest TVs.
This would allow me to put the portal video on bigger screens in my house. I love the portal experience but, the screen size is a little small for large groups trying to see the screen.

USB-C Portable Battery Pack Support
There's a USB-C and a detachable Power Supply. I would LOVE to be able to hook this up to a large battery pack to make this a little more portable. The Portal+ already has a handle on it. I want to move this from the kitchen to the coffee table!

Multiroom Audio with Alexa
Possibility to set up a multiroom audio between Facebook portal and echo devices! Would be great to see this feature added to the Facebook Portal to expand the Echo ecosystem as a whole-home audio
Currently, the Alexa app recognizes the device, but does not allow it to be added to the multi-room group.

Fixed Weather and Large Clock Superframe Screensaver (no pictures transitions)
It would be great to have a Superframe screensaver option that stays on the weather display and that doesn't transition through pictures. It would also be cool to add a large clock screensaver that doesn't transition. A retro flip clock would be super cool, but just a large clock would be fine too.

Schedule Group Calls in Messager
I love that we can do group calls in Messager, especially for family who lives across the country or for friends from college etc. But we'd have to all sync our times manually. It would be really cool if there was an event option to plan a group call together instead of waiting for everyone to get online.

Portal TV as USB Web camera
Ability to use Portal TV as USB Web camera + Mic opens up for good telecommuting setup. There is no good alternative web camera with good far field microphones + noise cancellation in the market.

Use "HELLO" as a way of answering a call
When someone calls our Portal, in order to answer the call you need to say "Hey Portal Answer". How about just being able to say, "HELLO".
"Hey Portal" is a mouthful for some seniors who may have a problem pronouncing certain words due to cognitive issues. A simple "hello" is easy to say and would make life much easier for my wife who does have difficulties with "Hey Portal".
Maybe "Hello" could also be used as a "wake word". With over 5 million people in the United States suffering from Alzheimer's, that's a big market for offering a simple way…

Improve photo display
Though my portal album has 100+ photos, the photoframe is only cycling through some of these, and not showing others at all. This seems to be a common complaint - please fix this, so that ALL photos in the album are shown.
Provide a way of shuffling photos in an album.
Allow us to have photos displaying all day, not shutting off after an hour
Allow us to share photos between trusted people,. Ie casting
I wanted this to work mainly as a photo frame, but it's really bad at this - very disappointed.

Portal needs to have messenger kids intergration
Especially during these times of our current global state, portal users and messenger kids users should be able to call each other. Yes, portal is designed as a smart home/assistant device but also is an option for those who are not as tech savvy as others or may not own a computer. Facebook Portal does work with Facebook Messenger for Kids!!!
The main thing I want to do with Portal is talk to my grandkids. But, after several frustrating attempts, I was told Facebook Portal does not support Facebook Messenger for Kids!!!! Is this true????

FB Kids Messenger
Like so many others, I got my Portal so I could video call my young granddaughter only to discover after the fact that FB Kids Messenger is not supported. After all, Portal is promoted to help grandparents stay connected. What a huge disappointment! Please add FB Kids Messenger!
