2. Remove new MOST USED APPS on home page

   We own 5 Portals and were purchased to stay in touch with elderly family members and it was great until recently. You changed the home page set up which now has made the contact photo's much much smaller and almost impossible to see the green lite easily anymore. Now, instead of the contact icons being a good size and easy to see for elderly people...you've added an area that takes up almost 50% of the home page saying 'Most Used Apps' which you can't even swipe away or disable!! At least give us that option!! We did NOT need this added as it was very simple already to find 'settings/photos/help' without this taking up so much of the home page. Please go back to the old format or at least give us the option to stick with the original format. Elderly people need things simple and that was the whole point of even buying all of these Portals

3. Fix Portal TV's HDMI-CEC so it doesn't block other devices

   I have two devices whose HDMI-CEC abilities don't work while the Portal TV is plugged into the same TV. These problems occur whether or not HDMI-CEC is enabled in the Portal TV settings.

   1. Normally when I cast a video to my Chromecast, the TV automatically turns on and switches to the correct input. But when the Portal TV is also plugged into my TV, the Chromecast fails to control the TV -- I have to manually turn it on and change inputs to get to the Chromecast. Unplugging the Portal TV restores the correct Chromecast behavior.

   2. Similarly, when running the command "echo pow 0 | cec-client -s -d 1" on my Raspberry Pi, it normally returns "power status: on" or "standby" depending on whether the TV is on or off. This is useful for automating TV functions for my family. However, when the Portal TV is also connected to the TV, this command simply returns "power status: unknown" regardless of the actual TV power status. Again, unplugging the Portal TV lets the Raspberry Pi read the correct TV power status.

   While we enjoy video calling with the Portal TV, this problem makes it harder to use our TV while the Portal TV is plugged in, and we are seriously considering switching to an alternative method for video calls if this problem is not fixed.

4. Enable location services to allow streaming with Hulu and Netflix ~OR~ Add Hulu and Netflix to the Portal app store

   I've owned my Portal for almost a year. Up until 2-3 months ago, I was able to stream Hulu & Netflix using the Portal browser. But now when i visit Hulu the first thing i see is a screen prompting me to enable location services. However, there is no setting for Location services on the Portal. Netflix doesn't ask for location services but my Netflix streaming capabilities using the Portal browser were interrupted around the same time as my Hulu issue began. Now when I try to stream Netflix content, it says 'instant play isn't available' or something to that effect. Since streaming on Hulu and Netflix via Portal browser stopped working around the same time, I suspect that both issues are tied to the location services not being enabled. I did not change anything on my end, so perhaps one of the Portal updates knocked out this function. Since the apps for Hulu and Netflix are not yet available for Portal owners, it would be a huge help if I could at least go back to using the Portal browser to access this content. Please help me to enable location services on my portal - OR - please add Hulu and Netflix to the Portal app store. Thank you in advance for your attention to this much needed enhancement! :)

6. When I'm away from Portal+, allow me to Video Call my Portal+ from my Messenger on my phone

7. HAVE A PROCESS FOR REPAIRING A BROKEN SCREEN

   My granddaughter accidentally dropped the portal. I can’t believer you DON’T HAVE A PROCESS TO REPAIR THE SCREEN. I understand it isn’t covered by a warranty. However, I am shocked and extremely disappointed that I can’t send it in to get the screen repaired. This is troubling to hear and feel the responsibility to let people know that it’s unrepairable. As friends have come over to see it and used this at work, I’ve given this high marks.

   Now that I’ve found out the hard way that support and repair is below par, I’ll be sharing that too.

   Please get a system in place where you can send in the portal to get a repair.

   Add the ability to display day and date on Superframe in addition to the time. Many older people would find this helpful!! Purchased for my mother in assisted living and would be very helpful for her to glance at the Superframe when she forgets day/date.

9. Slideshow Glitches and/or Fixes Portal Go

   Why does the photo slideshow turn off so quick? Should be a setting to keep it on however long you want. Also, the slideshow often freezes on certain pics instead of cycling back through all pics. What's the point of a slideshow if you have to keep resetting it?

11. Allow WhatsApp set up without the use of a smart phone / QR code for the elderly.

    Grandmother is almost 90, she has a standard phone. She does not like tablets or touchscreens hence why we got her the portal due to the voice commands and she can keep up with the family that is currently dispersed across the country. You should be able to create a WhatsApp account without a QR code or just the web version without a smart phone. In the case that is not possible, it would be much obliged at the least if it was clear at purchase that there is no way around it, as the product is targeted at the elderly and the fact that they don't need to necessarily physically interact with it ( HUGE selling point), downside can't use it because we can't link the WhatsApp calling function. Please HELP!

15. Allow Remote Management, Live Stream and Auto Answer for the disabled

    I purchased this for my disabled mother, and I also work with a large volume of disabled veterans in the VA hospitals. I'm setting this one up for family members to call and video chat with their disabled loved one. It would be great to be able to remotely manage the device. Also, to be able to set it up for auto answer. And live stream. All 3 features would make this a great product for the disabled and infirmed. A large segment of the population that is currently underserved, and have no options.

    I should also be able to send/receive text messages via messenger using voice-to-text too.

17. why dont you make replacement parts for Portal? My sons dog chewed the cord so now I just throw it away?

    You need better customer service and replacement parts. I have purchased 5 to connect my family and due to a dog, my son's is useless. How dumb is it to produce a product without replacement parts.

    First, I would love- I mean why did the feature even go away love it so much! The ability to transfer calls between portal and phone and back because I take walks...also would love to transfer calls from portal to portal....were the second idea available I would totally get a second portal for another room.

20. Keyboard/Mouse support

    The portal has a very good browser, unfortunately without a keyboard and a mouse the experience is really bad, I tried connecting a Bluetooth keyboard and it didn’t work, I also tried using a USB type C otg adapter to connect to regular USB keyboard but it didn’t work, which are things that I do with my Amazon echo show 2, I also connect a 2.4ghz remote and use it to control youtube.com/tv website which is a very good experience using YouTube on the echo show making it looks exactly like the TV. another thing that I cannot do on the portal devices.
